More About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Adrian.

I've been playing tennis since I was 12, competitively from ages 14-17.

Growing up, my heroes were Stefan Edberg and Pete Sampras. Naturally, I developed an aggressive style of tennis.

Served-and-volleyed mostly when I was a younger player, now I play attacking all-court tennis. Ocassionally coach but not often, I enjoy playing and competing more.

When I had better fitness, I would say that I was perhaps NTRP 4.5/5.0, now not quite so.

Single-handed backhand, semi-western forehand, kick server. Heavy spinner (I break my strings way too quickly, regardless of type and brand, they tend to last on average of 12 hours of play).

Favorite (and most reliable) shot is the backhand slice.

Currently eyeing the Wilson nCode Tour racket. Till then, I am still very much in love with my Wilson ProStaff Classics. Slightly weighted with lead tapes on the sides for head stability. I string them at 50lbs, currently with Signum Pro poly guts.
